Terms That Protect You

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Chescafe platform, website, mobile applications, and related services ("Services") operated by Chescafe Limited.

By registering an account or using any part of our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Chescafe platform.

By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete, and that you will keep it up to date.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do not share your password with anyone.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorised by you.

You agree to notify Chescafe immediately at support@chescafe.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to or use of your account.

You must not create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes or share access with third parties for commercial gain.

Chescafe reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts found to be in violation of these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the breach.

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

You must not: upload false, misleading, or inaccurate pet health information; harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users or veterinary professionals; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure; use automated bots or scraping tools to access or extract data; or resell or commercially exploit the Services without express written authorisation from Chescafe.

Certain features of Chescafe require a paid membership subscription. Plan details, features, and pricing are described on the Membership page.

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Subscription payments are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as expressly stated in our refund policy at the time of purchase.

Chescafe reserves the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice to existing subscribers. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle.

Chescafe facilitates access to licensed veterinary professionals but does not itself provide veterinary advice, diagnoses, or medical treatment.

All content available on the platform — including community posts, health tracking insights, articles, and any AI-assisted features — is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional veterinary advice.

Always consult a licensed veterinarian regarding any questions or concerns about your pet's health, medications, or treatment. In the event of a medical emergency, contact your nearest emergency veterinary clinic immediately.

Chescafe shall not be held liable for any harm, loss, or injury arising from reliance on information found on the platform in lieu of professional veterinary consultation.

All content on the Chescafe platform — including text, images, logos, software, user interface design, and related materials — is the property of Chescafe Limited or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any platform content without express prior written permission from Chescafe Limited.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chescafe Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

Chescafe's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the Services in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely free from harmful components. The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@chescafe.com. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees.

Chescafe may suspend or terminate your access at any time for a material breach of these Terms, with or without notice depending on the nature of the breach.

Upon termination, your right to access and use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitation of liability shall survive termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.

We strongly encourage users to contact us at support@chescafe.com to seek an amicable resolution before initiating any formal legal proceedings. Most disputes can be resolved quickly and informally.
